  3. Hi Liza,

I forgot to tell you that we (together with all your Yellow Diaries Friends (coz, were not only your fans, were friends) were so happy for your development. We always await for your update on this site and we are so thankful with the LORD that he’s answering our prayers for you. I’m excited to look forward for your new book to come in market and hopely it will be available here in Middle East.

From all of us, your friends in Yellow Diary blog. Happy graduation on your MM course and please always take care of yourself. If we can only be on the place where you are, we will always be there for you to follow and support you all the way. However, since we cannot do that and (me) for example is working here in Dubai, what I can do is to pray for you always -> for your ” new found love” and for your loving father that all of you will always be under the protection of our almighty GOD.

God Bless you and your whole family.

Lisa…My name is Joy and I am from the US in the state of SC. I discovered your movies about 3 years ago (by accident I might add, but glad I did). After seeing the movie I saw, I was fascinated by the actress in it so I did some researsh. As of this date (10-4-10) I’ve seen everything of yours I could see (that has been released here in the US). I always enjoyed your performances. I kept up with you through any means for the purpose of being able to see more of your performances. Needless to say, as I was following your career, I was at the beginning of your coming out in public with your diagnosis with MM. I followed your treatment and remission with joy in my heart that you beat the illness. I myself am a breast cancer graduate so I can sort of relate to what you have been through. I didn’t have the venue to talk about my “C” word with people like you do, nor did I have the public personna to go public in such a way that people would take notice. For this I thank you for bringing light to the fact that there are people out here all over the world that go through all types of the “C” word! I will continue to follow you and your life through your Yellow Diaries (congrats on your new love!). You are an inspiration to me and a lot of other people out here. If you could, please let us out here who love and admire you for all you’ve been through know where we can see pictures and articles that you’ve done so we can continue to pray for you and be grateful for all of your sucesses.

With my admiration and love, Joy

I have no idea if Lisa Ray really read these messages and I’m not a loyal follower of yours as are many who have written here, but know or know of one so talented and a fighter in life for life and especially against one of the terrible diseases such as cancer, is worthy of admiration and praise for the success of a war that is divided into many strong and grim battles, but what you read and observe through a monitor and the various pages related to Lisa Ray is his constant battle and their desire to get ahead … Do not give up, continuing well and the war will be won and at the end is much the relief you feel when you look back and pain but there were many penalties, no matter if you turn back and look ahead to those yet to continue living there. … And as the Venezuelans say: “pa Pa Lante es pa ya ….. You remind me of my sister, same face, the treatments are never sparring, her strength was unmatched along with her courage and I see that in you. I don’t want to tell you a sad story, she never wanted to ever be discouraged, I remember almost punching a nurse practitioner at Sick Kids who asked her to write a letter that no one should ever be asked to write. There is something out there that works, better than you can ever imagine, the word remission won’t cross your mind ever again. I gave that to my sister, all the oncologist could say to me was, \weren’t you scared\, it was funny he asked me that after giving her poison and blasting her body for 3 years. If you do read this, please drop me an email, I lost her to a stomach bleed, caused by all the wonderful treatment they weren’t afraid to give her, she didn’t have cancer when she did though…I’ve been helping people since, it’s my resolve.

  17. In the company, there are so a amount of back links of London letter charms and back links of London pendants, that are my favorite. although there are nonetheless a amount of back links of london sweetie necklaces and back links of london friendship bracelets,Links of London online, I certainly not moved by them. Silver findings may be beneficial to men and women who are allergic to nickel-plated findings,Links London Sweetie Bracelets, especially in earring wires. Some men and women can only put on valuable material findings within their skin,Links London Bracelets, as other sorts can trigger an unpleasant allergic reaction. Sterling back links of london silver earring findings are not as costly when you would think, so it might be very good exercise to utilize these rather on the less expensive non-silver findings to keep away from any feasible reaction.Different letters give me distinctive information in my life, which include the B,Links London Friendship Bracelets, it teaches me to think in my loved ones and think my selfThe attendant say I incredibly very good taste, she inform me the fact that back links of London jewelryss style and design are incredibly excellent,Links Bracelets, also very good quality. Hey hey hey !!! Lisa Ray is twitting again ;-) )) actually she’s been twitting for a while now, only i noticed it recently . so those of u who who opened their twitter account just to read twits from lisa (like me!) now hav a good reason to check in everyday !!

@peggy like you, i too have no idea if lisa even reads our messages and also im not a ”loyal follower” but i think that’s fine . we all have our lives to live , jobs to do, family to give time to … even lisa does . just like we don’t expect her to read each of our messages , i bet she doesn’t expect all her fans n admirers n well wishers to ”follow” her everyday .
what matters is that we love her n whenever she crosses our mind , we pray for her ..

    Love u Lisa ;-*

    hey lisa,
I have always thought you were the prettiest model/actor we have…just thought of writing in to you because my fiance is a survivor.he has been NED for more than 6 years now and i thank god from the deepest corners of my heart for it.i met him a year after his treatment and i could not find a better guy than him.he is such a beautiful wonderful human being..and loves me so much.We are facing such opposition from my family about me marrying someone who had cancer.that when i have a doctor who treats cancer patients herself in my family.and the opposition is the greatest from her.i’m just trying so hard to make them see that it is not about who had today’s environment any of us can have it.and i beleive in kismet and fate a lot.i met him barely a few months after he joined back work.that too on the internet.i have never made friends on the net.neither has he.but we found each other through it.god has a sense and purpose for whatever happens.and i believe i was destined to meet him and journey with him.hope to hear from the way you and your loved one’s have dealt with the disease.stay healthy always.

-Lisa, thank you for making multiple myeloma more aware together with the MMRF. As a 32year old MM-patient I find it curious, that the high tech medicines knows almost nothing about our disease. Not even the reason, why it relapses. To fight it, we’ve to go through our minds and through science. As Dr. Sagganath from Mount Sinai points it out: cure is on its way in the next 5-10 years. But they need (much) money and awareness. You are an extremely positive kind of ambassador. I (and my 2 little children) wanted just say thank you for this to you! Mikki

I have but one wish for you my special friend,
that your tremendous strength and spirit sees no end.
I also wish you continued abundances of laughter and love,
from all those around you and those up above.
You travelled through the most difficult terrain of sand and dirt,
you’ve finally found your oasis of spirit beyond your deepest hurt.
It is clearly those who suffer the deepest of pain–
are always the ones who find they had the most to gain.
There is nothing sadder than a lackened spirit that’s had it’s fill,
and nothing more incredible and unstoppable than a heart with an infinite will!

    Dear Lisa,
I am so happy for your remission. I wish you a long remission. I applaud you for your valiant fight against MM. I do not believe anyone can understand the physical struggles you have endured throughout chemotherapy treatment and transplantation. Again, I applaud you in your successful struggles.
I have been impressed by the mental and emotional strength you have shared with all through your blog. I have been moved to tears many times. Having lost my Mother, I was especially touched by your mentioning your own loss.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings during this difficult period in your life. As an oncology nurse, you have reminded me why I chose this field of nursing and inspired me in my practice. Wishing you health, happiness and love!!!!

  32. Here is another case like yours, who got MM like you very early on. Have been fighting the battel just ahead of you. Have gone thru Tandem transplant, prior treatment included, thal-dex unlike yours of velcade. Unfortunatley relpased and out of all current therpy. On the wait list for unrelated donor match. Chances of fighting for south asian is 1%, compare to Caucasians it is 80%. Unless there is a wake up call among south asians, we will have dis appointing results.

South Asians, come out and shelf and get register for marrow/stem cell donation.

Join hands and make it happen. Life is within you, save it.
    Keep fighting Lisa….

you give me hope. you give me the courage to fight my disease every single day. you give me motivation to succeed in everything that i do, even if i am too tired to get out of bed that day. i turn my laptop on and read your blogs. they make me happy.
    really happy.
i strive for happiness in my life, but it doesn’t stay around long enough.
i feel like I’m living in time, but time doesn’t seem to move much..
all i ask for in life is to be content
i don’t need to be happy, i just don’t want the pain anymore
you’re story has given me faith to live my life not fearing death
but i always ask myself, what exactly is death?
all we are, is energy. energy never dies off.
maybe i shouldn’t fear the unknown
and face what’s waiting for me on the other side

thank you for bringing happiness to my final stage of existence. hopefully i can bring that with me in a different life.

  43. carolyn mann

     /  November 4, 2010

Lili this one is for you too!!! And for anyone who needs it!!!

Even though my eyes and heart have not seen nor felt the exact path
that you’ve been on, or where it will eventually go–
I still understand how difficult life can be at times,
which is something we all must come to know.

Every one of us shares the common threads of life
made up of love, hope and even pain,
And even though all our lives may be quite different,
our deepest thoughts and feelings are still very much the same.

So during this difficult time I’d like to give you my most sincere regards
and compassion so you may never feel alone,
And lend you my strength and courage so you have the
confidence to stand on your own.

But most of all I wish you boundless amounts of faith and love,
When you have both, there’s nothing you can’t rise above.

So just know, my dear friend, that should you ever feel lost and alone–
Remember that the most peaceful spirit must travel through some pain
    to find it’s rightful home….

God Bless and Stay Strong!!! Sincerely, Ca from NY

PS–Don’t fear death–we only fear what we don’t know–so why is it whatever we don’t know something we automatically think it’s bad? Besides why sit and wait for something we don’t even know about–instead enjoy today and all this world has to offer until the next world comes a knocking!!
